These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Kenya School Timetable, including its timetable generator, Premium tools, school accounts, exports, cloud backups and M-Pesa payment services. By registering a school account, purchasing access or using the software, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Kenya School Timetable provides tools that help schools create, review, repair, export and manage class, teacher, subject and room timetables. Premium tools may include timetable alternatives, workload checks, teacher cover, exam and invigilation planning, backups, approval records and professional exports.
2. School accounts
You must provide accurate school and contact information. You are responsible for keeping login details secure and for activity performed through your account. Do not share an account outside the school personnel authorised to use it. Notify us through the Help Centre if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. School data and responsibility
You retain responsibility for the teachers, classes, subjects, rooms, allocations and other school data entered into the platform. You must have authority to provide that information and must avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information. The school is responsible for reviewing generated timetables before publication or operational use.
4. Timetable results
The software applies the information and rules supplied by the school. Although it is designed to detect conflicts and highlight warnings, no automated schedule should be treated as finally approved until an authorised school representative has reviewed it. Incorrect, incomplete or conflicting input data can affect results.
5. Premium access and payments
Premium access is sold according to the plan and price displayed during purchase. M-Pesa Express payments are processed through Safaricom. Access is normally activated automatically after a successful payment confirmation. A payment request that is cancelled, timed out or declined does not create Premium access.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the service for legitimate school timetable planning. You must not attempt to disrupt the platform, bypass access controls, access another school’s data, upload malicious material, reverse engineer protected systems or use the service for unlawful purposes.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and secure, but maintenance, hosting problems, internet interruptions or third-party service failures may occasionally affect access. Features may be improved or adjusted where necessary, provided that active customers continue to receive the essential value of the purchased plan.
8. Exports and backups
Schools should download and securely retain important final timetables and exports. Cloud revisions are an additional convenience and should not be the school’s only copy of essential records.
9. Intellectual property
The Kenya School Timetable software, interface, branding and original platform materials remain protected. Schools retain ownership of the school data they submit and the timetable records produced from that data for their own use.
10. Suspension
Access may be suspended where there is evidence of fraud, misuse, security abuse, unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will provide an opportunity to resolve ordinary account issues.
11. Refunds
Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy. Duplicate charges, confirmed payment without activation and verified service failure are reviewed promptly.
12. Limitation
To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, the service is provided as a timetable planning tool. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect school data, unauthorised account use, a school’s failure to review a timetable, or events outside our reasonable control.
13. Kenyan law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
